You know those cliche catch phrases people will tell you, or those popular quotes on Whisper or some other platform…..they’re all BS.
Like clearly if someone wanted to be with me, I wouldn’t have been single the past 5 years.
2020 and probably even since 2016ish dating has changed. Nobody cares about ambition anymore. Nobody cares about your plans for the future. They only care about right now. So if you’re ugly and don’t have money, you’re kind of out of lock.
But telling people these cliche catch phrases in an attempt to support them is just bs and makes us feel worse. Like, as if you feel sorry for us.
