Confused if she is interested

So there is this senior from my uni with whom I am in touch.recently I asked her if she wanted me to take her on a date and she said yes.she said should go on a date once the lockdown got over here.however she never initiates contact first.we have always texted each other and met maybe twice at uni. Not sure if she is interested. Thoughts and advice redditers.
