Curious about Bumble. Why do ladies match if they’re never going to talk?

I've seen this happen to my guy friends alot and it's happened to me over the last few days.

Thought I'd give bumble a try instead of the usual tinder and to my surprise got a few matches.

Well, every single one expired. Why match if you're not going to talk?
