I 26F have used dating apps on and off since age 22. Have met maybe 2 casual partners off there when I was young and didn’t want a serious LTR. I now do but notice that men on these apps ALWAYS approach me for a hookup and never anything serious. Sex always comes into the conversation way too fast from their end. I notice my friend who similarly has always been single got asked on dates from these same apps while I only got approached for sex. She eventually found a partner from hinge. I have tried going on dates and told the guy I didn’t want to hookup and by the end of the date they just got upset I wouldn’t sleep with them.
I wonder what I am doing to give off this vibe. I always get told I look innocent and younger than my age. My pics are just me smiling wearing casual clothes or my friends and I. Nothing crazy.
Any suggestions on how to weed out these people/ things to change about how I present myself? Not sure why this is the case.
