I’ve been single almost a year and it has had its ups and downs. On one hand, I like being alone and doing my own thing and on the other I miss having someone around as a companion who’s not my dog. I broke up with my ex because he wasn’t ready for the type of relationship I was looking to go forward with and since I’ve been back on the scene I’ve had no luck. One minute I’m talking to someone and someone things lose momentum. I don’t know how to keep it from happening but I feel like I’m destined to continue to be alone.
