Note: I have pretty much no experience dating so I honestly cannot tell what are signals so some help would be great
I (20F) went on a date with a guy (19M) 2 weeks ago and it went pretty well, we had really nice conversations and there was just a bit of that first date awkwardness but it went pretty good overall. After the date, he sent me a text saying that he had a great time and would totally be down to hang out again. We talk a bit more and the conversation kind of dies down.
A few days later, I asked him if he wanted to hang out on the weekend, to which he says he has school work and suggests next weekend instead. I agree, but when the weekend comes, he doesn't text to confirm or make plans so I just left it as it is.
A week passes, and with a lot of encouragement from my friends, I decided to shoot my shot again, so I asked him out yesterday and he said "Can I get back to you x I have an assignment due on that day that I haven't started on". Some of my friends think that its pretty much a sign that I should give up but some also think that he's actually just busy. What do you guys think because this is giving me too much anxiety lmao
