Hi guys!
So here's the thing… I'm (f, twenties) very new to the whole dating/relationship world and I really wanted to know your opinion on this.
I've been talking to a guy (via text, voice messages, short videos) for about a month now. We talk everyday and we seem to have a lot in common. I think he's really interesting.
Yesterday he sent me a pretty sugestive text, but I ignored his intentions and mentioned something else, because I wasn't comfortable in playing along – I don't know what his expectations are: if he wants something casual or if he's searching for something a bit more serious.
I feel like I can't flirt or have a little more fun, because I'm afraid that he'll just want to do casual stuff and I end up getting hurt. Meaning, I def have trust issues from past experiences.
I want to be transparent and say that I'm looking for connection and something meaningful, but I don't want to create preassure on either of us.
What do you think about setting and talking about these kinds of expectations?
TL;DR: I've talking to a guy for about a month now – online. I want to be honest about my expectations (looking for a serious relationship) so I know we're on the same page. That way i'll be able to feel more comfortable with flirting and even sexting.
