Do dating apps actually work for people here?

I've tried apps like Tinder and Bumble and I really can't find people who are mutually into me. Maybe it's my photos? It just seems unnatural to me.

There are newer apps like Cuff that I haven't tried yet that are video/scheduling based but I'm kind of anxious about video chatting a stranger for the first time. Anyone have experience with these?

Overall, just not sure about whether this is a good use of my time or whether I should just try to do something IRL even with the curfews and whatnot.
