Hey guys,
So I have been seeing this girl (F18). We both live in a small town, so everyone basically knows each other and knows whats up. We only went on a few dates and chatted a lot through snapchat and WhatsApp. Last week (monday) I went for a walk with her, while I was pretty drunk from that afternoon, which she knew, and afterwards she invited me in and I sat with her parents aswell (so I meet her parents..). I think I did pretty well, though, despite being pretty intoxicated.
Anyway, fast forward to tuesday she cancels our plans (we already had plans for tuesday night) saying she had a bad day at work, didn't feel too well and rather be home with her parents (works in healthcare, so does her mom so that's fine in current times I guess). Then Wednesday I ask her how she was holding up, that I hoped she had a better day. She replied that she was doing OK but just not feeling well in general (kinda depressed you could say) and that she would rather be in her trusted environment at home because of that. I told her she could talk to me if she wanted to, and if not that's fine too.
She stopped snapchatting me after that. She hasn't texted me since. Her best friend (whom I also sort of know and had a large snapchat streak with) stopped snapchatting me, and I know they talked about me/us a lot so.. I am pretty sure I can just assume this is the end of it, which is fine with me to be honest. It's probably for the best, considering her depression and I don't actually want to deal with that in a "new" girl. Anyway, question is do I still send her a text now? On the one hand, especially since we're going to see each other in a bar or some place at some point due to the small town, I feel like it's appropriate to just send her a text along the lines of "Hey, hope you're doing better now. You have probably had the same feeling, considering you stopped snapchatting me, but I just thought I'd still send you a text. I really think you're a great girl, but that it's best if you focus on yourself for now and that we leave it at this.."
Or do I just.. do nothing and leave it be? So many people already know I went on a few dates with her, so keep asking how it's going etc… women are even worse at that so.. she got like 5 people asking how it was going WHILE we were on a date. Everyone knowing about it doesn't help either. What would you do?
