I’m (F/30) the type of person who generally waits about a month to have sex with someone I’m interested in. But a few weeks ago I started talking to someone on a dating app and second date in, I thought hey, I’m just gonna have fun and go for it! Very unlike me since I usually need to have some emotional connection in order to enjoy sex.
Honestly did enjoy it in the moment, but in hind site realized this guy said some strange shit to me during sex, and it totally changed my perception of him. Just curious if anyone else has felt this way during sex (regardless of your gender). Here are examples of some of the things he said:
-
Commented on my lack of pubic hair and told me he expected me to have more. (Also said it’s coming back, according to recent porn)
-
Told me I’m a squirter. I’ve never squirted in my life and just find it so distasteful to tell someone that. Very “unclassy” in my opinion.
-
“I want to put things in your butt.” Like c’mon dude, I just met you!
-
And lastly, spreading my legs out like I’m about to give birth! Does anyone else feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable when guys spread your legs like this?
Overall I just felt like I was just some sex object. But I honestly really don’t think that was his intention- I think he’s a genuinely nice guy but maybe unaware of his relationship with sex and how that comes across to the other person. I did text him to tell him that I didn’t like those comments and wasn’t interested in another date.
Does anyone else feel like this when it comes to meeting someone new and having sex? Knowing that porn is such a big part of some people’s sex lives, does it seem like intimacy has become less authentic and less about building a connection? I’m curious to hear your thoughts, men and women!
