Does anyone feel like they’re dating pol has dried up?

Here’s my background: I’m [33M] an engineer, live in a reasonably rural area, work on the outskirts of a small city 30 miles from the house. I’m very active (run, lift, bike, climb, paddle), I have many interesting hobbies, an awesome dog, and a decent house/toys. I’ve done the whole “be your best self” thing and I think I’m at my peak.

I’ve been single for 3.5 years, never married, no kids. My last date was 1.5 years ago. I have zero dating prospects. I don’t even know where to look for new people to date. I work in a secure facility, my gyms are very small and there isn’t an influx of new people (nor any existing members I’m interested in), and all of my friends are in relationships and make terrible wingmen/wingwomen. I haven’t had any luck with online dating and COVID has made going out and meeting new people even harder.

I’m kind of reaching that point where it makes more sense to give up than to keep trying to date. Is anyone else in a similar situation or have any advice for my seemingly very specific situation?

Edit: they’re = their in the title

That [presumably autocorrected] typo will haunt me all my days.

Edit 2: Holy shit. Pol = Pool. My title is unintelligible. Unless it gets traction whilst I sleep, I’ll delete and repost without the typos.
