Does anyone have struggles with getting ghosted frequently?

I’ve been on many dating apps recently and it seems that no matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to hold onto a conversation with anyone I meet using the in-app chat feature. There was this one girl I met about a week ago and we had hit it off and were chatting for a couple days. Then, nothing… I sent her another message, just checking if there were “any signs of life” and yet again, nothing. I’m getting very frustrated because I have so much love to give but no one to give it to. Ever since I came out as trans (MtF) I’ve been having this issue, whether I meet girls online or in person. Like, I feel like I’m pretty attractive online even given my gender identity because it seems like I’m getting a lot of likes, but whenever I match with someone and start talking, they ghost me soon after. Has anyone else had this problem in the past or present? And if you’re currently having this issue, do you think it’s worsened by the pandemic? If so, what’s a girl supposed to do to hold a damn conversation with another girl online? Lol
