She told both of us she’s not ready to date. But she’s always in his office talking to him, and her body language indicates attraction. She volunteered to take care of my dog for one night when I went out of town. We agreed for her to come over the day before I left at such and such time so she could meet my dog when I was there. When I stopped by her cubicle to tell her I was available earlier than previously stated, she turned and announced to everyone she was going to be taking care of my dog with an embarrased look on her face.
Flash forward a month. She’s invited to a wedding, and seems to struggle with going, but does so on a particular weekend. The following Monday, I ask how it went, and she says “its nice seeing people in love” but with a somewhat downcast look on her face and then just walks away. Later that day, she’s in the hallway talking to the other guy. She’s happy, even looks giddy. She asks him to go to lunch with her. At her suggestion, they go to the exact restaurant he told her he went to for his birthday months before. On their way out of the building she avoids making eye contact with me and then they walk to her car and she has a big smile on her face. At the restaurant, the waitress is a friend of hers, but she tells her she forgot she worked there. She introduces the guy as her friend, to which the waitress replies “time to start looking?”. She stays quiet.
