Don’t let people who are dependent on relationships affect how you feel about being single

I just realized a lot of people around me are in relationships which is why I long for one. I’m sadly always single because guys in their early 20’s aren’t necessarily trying to find a serious relationship whereas I know sex will lead me to gain emotions so I cannot hop on this hookup trend.

I also realize that many of these people in long term relationships at this age are unhappy and fight a lot with their partners. To the point where emotional and verbal abuse are regular and seemed justified.

Don’t allow these dependent personalities- the kind that allow whatever to happen to them just for the sake of feeling loved, ruin your standards or perception of being lovable. There is someone out there for us. It’s all about timing. At least we are happy and single than stressed and with someone we aren’t sure who cares for us.
