Ex reached out to me after 8 months.

Sorry this is gonna be a long post?

So ab 8 months ago me (21M) got dumped by my 22(F) gf of 2 years supposedly because she didn’t want to leavened hometown as i pursue my higher ed (currently getting masters working on PHD) but came to find out that the reason is she was talking to someone else and ended up dating them 2 weeks after we split. So fast forward all the time the pain is gone and I feel I’ve mostly healed, first love so it hurt like a mf, and then she reaches out to me. She basically said that she wanted to apologize for how she acted at the end and thay she was proud of me for pursuing my dreams education wise. I texted her that we had nothing to speak about and asked her to please delete my number. HERES the dilemma even after everything she did i STILL have a soft spot for her. I’ve been on a few nice dates but no one excites me the way she did, and honestly i want to reach out again. Anyone whose been In a similar situation please help, I’m confused as fuck and don’t know what to do.
