I (m,27) had this date with this girl (f, 24) after chatting around for aprox. one month (Covid-19 made it difficult to meet up earlier), we met up, had dinner together, laughed a lot, came up with older topics we already talked about trough whatsapp and had a really good time in general, it was fantastic and i sure wanted to go for a second date, that fate was not shared by her however but you know what? It was absolutely fine, wanna know why? because she had the COURAGE to tell me, she was not scared of being direct about it, telling me of how much fun she had but didnt feel the "spark" unfortunately & for the first time ever i felt appreciated & respected enough by a date. No leading on, no ghosting but pure and upmost courage, it feels great not having to overthink everything while theres radiosilence after the first date. I just wanted to get that out of my chest
