A couple of weeks ago I met a new guy on Tinder. I asked him what he was looking for and he said he wanted something serious. I, on the other hand, wanted something casual as I just got out of a long term relationship.
About a week in, he told me that he was really into me and that even though he understood we were just FWB, he was bummed that I didn’t want to be more. Since then, though, things have started to feel like a real relationship and I’m starting to wonder if me not wanting to be serious is going to be a problem. I do like him a lot and started rethinking my stance, but ultimately I know the smart thing to do is to focus on myself right now. I just don’t want that to ruin what we have.
Things have been progressing as if we’re official. I’ve been over to his place about 4 times a week. He asked me to go out with him and his friends for dinner last weekend and he paid for my meal.
Last night we got drunk together and I ended up crashing at his place. Now I feel like all day today things have been different. He hasn’t really texted me much and his replies are short. He was also adamant about me getting out so he can have time alone. I’m just wondering where his head is at. I’m sure acting like a girlfriend for someone trying to be casual and I don’t know if not being official is going to make him rethink being with me because I seem to be unsure of what I want.
TLDR – FWB is acting different after I stayed the night and I’m worried that saying I want to be casual but acting serious is going to ruin what we have
