Hi everyone! I spent the last week in Greece with a couple of friends. A friend's best friend (both girls) joined as well and I immediately noticed that she was 100% my type. It was rather obvious she was into me too. We got talking and got along really well, laughed a lot, had a similar sense of humor, etc. After a couple of days, she became more and more "touchy", always tried to be close to me, touch me, talk to me and so on. Her friend later on told me that apparently she had even dreamt of me. I liked her and went along with it and we had lots of fun. One night we all had a couple of drinks and played cards, etc. until at some point the two of us were alone and she fell asleep on my chest for a little bit. When she was awake again, things escalated rather quickly. We kissed, we had sex and it felt like there was a connection. Now, I've never had a regular ONS in my life because I'm just not that kind of guy, but it felt like there was a lot more intimacy than I would expect from a ONS. Anyway, we laughed a lot and it was nice and even the day after that, she really tried to be close to me, smiled at me, etc. However, we talked about it in the evening that day and I asked her if she thought this could become more at some point or if it was a one-time thing to her. She said she doesn't think she's ready for that (her last relationship ended in March) and we stopped talking there and it was "ok" for everyone. She didn't stop trying to be close to me though and to touch me and we kept talking and laughing for hours and hours and even found more shared interests (hobbies, the same taste in music, etc.). When we said goodbye after our trip to Greece, she hugged me like no one has ever done before. It felt as if we were both trying to breath each other in. Since we've returned on Tuesday, she's texted me once and she's listening to my playlists on Spotify constantly.
Now I'm honestly a bit confused because I've never been in a situation like this. Her friend told me that she's had a difficult few months since her breakup and that she's been using men for validation and that she's afraid that she did that with me as well. I'm not entirely sure though. She could probably have had sex with me without all the touching before and after and without smiling at me all day. I'm not sure how to proceed now. I'm not in a rush, but I really think we made a connection and I want to get to know her better, but I also don't want to pressure her. I get what she's saying and that she needs time. I just don't think that there was nothing at all for her apart from sex.
How would you proceed? I don't want to pressure her and I don't want to ruin any friendships here. I'm also friends with her best friend and she said that she unfortunately can't really tell me what she's after. She seems very confused to me right now and like maybe she's a little more into me than she thought at first and that she wasn't just trying to get validation. Do I keep my distance or do I just ask her if she'd like to have coffee together or something and maybe talk about what happened and what could be in the distant future? I'd really appreciate the help from people who are more experienced with this 🙂
Don't know if it's relevant, but we're 24/m and 23/f.
