I (22m) met this girl (22f) on tinder in late may. I hadn’t ever clicked with a girl like this as we spent 20 hours together over our last 3 dates. She initiated giving me her number and date 2. We spent like 4 of those 20 hours basically hooking up (not sex) so combined with her initiations I thought she was as into me as I was into her.
I was planning to ask her to go exclusive during this or the next date because I stopped talking to others on tinder (it was only like 2 other girls where I felt I was putting in most of the effort so nothing of value really lost).
Today she let me know 3 hours before our date that she really likes me but is “in her feels” about her abusive ex and that she feels she needs to confront him before seeing me again. She didn’t tell me how long they had been dating but she made it sound like only a little while and she said that she and all of her friends hate him.
My initial thought is to tell her I’m moving on and just deleting/blocking her but I don’t know what to do. I don’t see why she feels she needs to confront him and I told her this but she says it something she feels she needs to do. I guess I’m just a hopeless romantic for thinking this would end up being something and could use some advice.
