Hi guys
I(20M) met this girl 4 months ago and we really hit it off right away. Initially, we weren't planning for anything serious, we both really enjoyed each others company and everything was great. However, after constantly texting each other and hanging out every weekend, we both caught feelings. I thought it was great, I finally found someone I liked and who liked me back. A few months into us dating, we were hanging out at her place, as we normaly do. It was getting late and I decided to drive home, as I had to wake up early in the morning. The next morning, I wake up to a text from her, which basically said "I really like you a lot, but I can't let myself be hurt again". I then learn that her 2 previous boyfriends cheated on her and broke up over the phone. The next text I got was "We should stop seeing eachother to not escalate our feelings for each other further". This happend so quick it completely caught me off guard. Right now, I'm feeling really sad and hopeless and I don't know what to do. I really like this girl and I definitely thought there was a potential future for us. I could really use some advice, because I honestly don't know what to do.
