I got this girl’s number from a relative a month ago. I messaged her and she said she just got out of a relationship and she needs time for herself. I said I totally understand and left it at that.
Yesterday, out of the blue, I get a message from her saying hi how are you. I jokingly say happy Father’s Day and ask how she celebrated. She had a bbq, I went to a cousin’s pool party. She constantly responds within a minute
I’m not a huge fan of texting so this is where I said “Let’s talk on the phone later tonight”. No response.
I wait a day and hit her with a ‘Hey, what are you up to today?”
No response. I guess I blew it but if she messaged me first knowing my intentions, it seems odds to ghost just because I asked to have a phone conversation. She could have responded saying she prefers we text a bit more and I would have understood but she didn’t even do that. Is there anything I can say at this point?
