Backstory: She is about to graduate medical school and tends to get stressed out which leads to us fighting about small things and her wanting space. I've respected her space in the past, giving her time to do her own things.
In no way am I clingy, we've created boundaries that work to help us keep it fresh and not constricting in a sense. Vice Versa for her.
She has not texted me back in 3 days going on 4 tomorrow – after a fight she deemed unnecessary due to her being stressed out and stating what she said that night was dumb and hyper analyzed in her head (test results from exam and prep for graduation).
During our "space" we tend to text and update how our day is going not being too intrusive due to the circumstances (stress, tired, etc..) But this time around she will be graduating next week and I have still yet to hear from her. I am stressing out and overthinking this whole situation because of similar posts online and their outcome.
Was I just someone here being used through medical school to give support? The lack of responses and short texts prior to this lead me to think so. I understand this is for her well being and mental recovery but i am here overthinking things and on the brink of blowing up on her due to how unhealthy this is FOR ME. I know this will get flipped around as not giving her space but when is too much? At least an update would help or a hello/goodmorning?
Any advice?
