Before I give my scenario, I want to say that every girl I’ve went on dates with at least offered to pay/split the bill. I was taken aback.. slightly because this didn’t happen today, twice. Once at a restaurant, next for dessert.
Been talking back and forth for 3 weeks or so and I ask if she wants to meet. Says yes but in my certain circumstance I can’t drive so she comes to see me (takes about 1-1hr 30mins). This alone warrants me to buy the food, in my opinion, and dessert which I was planning to anyway. Thing is she didn’t even offer to pay lol and tbh total amount was prob like $20 or not even for her share so like, it’s not a big deal.
My main question is in what circumstance is it “okay” for a female to not offer payment of her share at least? Is it justified here or not? Like I said, first time it’s happened so I wanted to ask you all. And is it okay for me to not see her if it happens again the 2nd time around? Curious here
