I had an excellent first date with a woman last night. Delicious dinner, walked around a downtown area with flowing conversation, drove her home (she took an Uber originally), exchanged phone numbers, hugged and agreed to meet up again. However, I did not go for the kiss. Usually, if there's overt signs of physical contact, I will. Also, with Covid, I'm cognizant that not everyone may be fully on board with it just yet although we didn't discuss that.
To make matters worse, we texted, extensively, for three weeks leading up to our eventual date (schedule conflicts). So we had some great rapport leading up to the date from those exchanges and yet I STILL didn't go for the kiss. I'm kind of freaking out that I screwed up and have been ruminating over it ever since.
