I've recently begun seeing this guy I've had a crush on for over a year. He liked me during this time as well, but the timing was never good because we didn't realize the other one felt the same way. About a month or so ago, we connected and began talking and it's easily the smoothest beginning stages of a relationship that I've ever had. He's funny and wonderful, and I really see a bright future with this person.
However, I am starting to get the vibe that he doesn't think that I'm really that into him due to the differences in our physical appearance. Before I make this next statement, I want to clarify that I am far from perfect and do not put myself above others based on the way they or I look. However, I am what my friends have described as "too hot" for this guy. I don't believe in that type of thinking whatsoever, but I also think he's been hearing the same thing from his friends.
I guess my question is whether or not there's anything I can do to help him feel better in his skin and show my genuine interest?
