Guy I’m seeing got weird when I told him I met someone he knows

I told my FWB over text I met someone who knows him.

Right away he responded saying “who?? And why are you bringing my name up to people??”

I didn’t reply right away and he called me fives times. Eventually I answered and he kept saying “who the fuck do you know? Why are you saying my name?”

I told him the guy and he just said oh okay and to keep his name out of my mouth.

Does this sound odd? Does he sound ashamed of me?
