Has anyone else noticed that generally, people in big cities tend to stay single longer and want more casual relationships?

Just a difference that I’ve noticed since I’ve moved from my hometown of 100k to a city with 1.5 million people. Most of the people in my hometown are married by the age of 25. If they didn’t go to college, they were all pretty much married by 19/20. A lot of them who did go to school were engaged by the time they graduated, and then the rest seemed to all get married by 25. I guess it’s cultural?? I also lived in the south at that time ,so that probably contributed to it as well.

But in a big city,it seems that people don’t usually marry here until their late 20s/early 30s. The dating seen is much more casual, and it seems that it takes longer for people to want to become exclusive or enter a serious relationship . Has anyone else noticed this?
