Have you stalked your date on social media before meeting?

Just wondering if everyone does this or just a small few? And have you ever come across something that turned you off the person?

I've a date coming up and i haven't added the guy on social media but have looked at his social media profiles. He on the other hand doesn't know my last name so obviously can't search for me. But I am curious to know if he has tried or are guys not as bothered.
