I'm a 23 year old guy who's never been in a relationship or had sex before because of difficulty with being social. I've started online dating recently and been on a few dates. This one guy that I went on a date with said that he wanted to have sex with me on the second date to determine if I'd be his boyfriend.
I always thought that I wouldn't have sex with someone until I was in a relationship with them, and that dating someone and being in a relationship with someone were the same thing, but some people online have said that dating someone is still casual and being in a relationship is when you're exclusive.
People online have also told me that after dating someone for a bit I'll need to have sex with them to determine sexual compatibility and then we'd be in a relationship if it works out . Is that true? I guess I'd be okay with that after maybe 4 or 5 dates, after I get to know them and we determine that we like each other, but not on the 1st or 2nd date like guys I've been on dates with have wanted.
