He didn’t ask me on a date he just assumed we are going to be dating after all this is over

I meet this guy on a dating app talked to him for two days briefly nothing too deep. Then he just jumps right into is dating after this without actually asking me

Him: so when do you have any free time to date?

Me: I usually have time it's just a matter of adjusting my schedule

Him: well let's hope so it'll be nice to be dating someone who is affectionate this time

Me: so you're just assuming we are going to be dating after this?

Him: well I did open a dating app so yea

Maybe I'm over reacting but this comes off as a red flag to me? Like he didn't even ask me on an actual date. After this message he told me to tell him if I didn't want to date him. But how TF am I supposed to know based off two days of brief talking and I haven't even met him? Like aren't you supposed to hang out with the person first to know if dating them is something you want?
