Okay, so I’m a rising senior in high school, and on Valentine’s Day this guy got me a flowers and a card. I was kind of interested, so I texted him thanking him for the flowers. We were going to hang out- but COVID-19 happened and we never got around to it. Since February we’ve kind of been texting on and off and I realized I really wasn’t interested. So, I kind of gave him dry responses in the hopes that he would become disinterested too. However, he didn’t, so I sent him a long text saying how I wasn’t feeling it anymore. I mentioned that I didn’t see the relationship going anywhere and said twice that I didn’t want to lead him on. He responded saying that talking in person would “fix” this and basically proposed that we meet up and hang out. I really don’t want to. I’m not interested in him, and I thought the text made that clear. I just don’t know how to respond, to make it clear that I don’t want to have a relationship. I would probably just ghost him at this point since he is not taking a hint, but there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll have a class together next year. Could someone pls help me out?
