Hinge’s Two Truths and a Lie

So a guy (27m) liked one of my (24f) photos on Hinge (a dating app for those who mightn’t know) so I look at his profile and I notice that one of the things listed under the “two truths and a lie” says “I don’t date white women”. I match with him and ask if that’s the lie. He’s being elusive.

Should I feel weird? Like he thought I was Latina because I’m tan and curvy but I’m Eastern European.

I hope this didn’t come off as racist. I’d date him but I just feel weird, like I’m only acceptable to him in the summer.
