How about it? I'm intentionally putting this in a sub I rarely ever visit on purpose. It's not like I haven't said it 1,000 different times, in many ways, online, IRL. When do we get to THAT? How much self-discovery, growth, personal evolution, clarity, levity blah blah blah blah blah is required before we get to the "acting like a reasonable person, and owning your shit?" checkpoint? Is that like the 13th step, comparing it to another type of recovery? Which medication makes you do it, or has it as a possible side effect? At what point do we stop blaming society, technology, mental illness, circumstance, what personality type you are, another person is…all well and fine, great. Perhaps they can explain why you acted how you acted. Perhaps you learn from such things. I'm all for all of that. But how about your actions…afterwards? Or lack thereof? How about…right up until now? When the fuck do we devolve, I've been ready for that for a long time! A little regression. All the way back to let's say…I dunno…kindergarten maybe? Where we learn really deep, complex psychological concepts…LIKE OWNING YOUR FUCKING SHIT, APOLOGIZING, AND DOING WHAT YOU CAN, IF POSSIBLE, TO MAKE AMENDS!!! Jesus Christ, so many people are so fucking self-serving, cowardly, fake, and entitled! Rant over, sorry about that!
