How do I ask my crush if they like me?

I tend to be pretty blunt with how I feel, so I told my crush that I like him and wanna hold hands. I’m not sure if he likes my that way though. He gave me a kiss in the cheek before I confessed and we agreed to think about our feelings first. I just don’t wanna sound rude or intrusive.
