How do I ask someone if they aren’t interested in me anymore?

Hello! And thanks for reading. I suppose, I’d rather just leave out endless guess work, and spare a myself a long let down. Some backstory: We met on Bumble a year ago and talked for a month before we lost contact. We matched again two months ago, and have been talking every single day, all day since. We have went out several times since. He tells me things like he is ‘claimed’ and ‘spoken for’ and even said I’m his partner. Though we never made anything official yet. It was seemingly headed there. He says all sorts of sweet and encouraging things all of the time. We were together a few days ago and everything was GREAT. We had such a nice time. So then yesterday he seemed a little off, and today he didn’t even message me back until way later, and then left me on read in response. Just very distant.

I also realize he could be having his own personal things going on so I don’t want to jump the gun either. So I’m giving him space. I’m just wondering if I had to address it, what should I say? Am I being irrational? Just seems like such a sudden turn, and I don’t know why :/
