How do I move on from a casual conversation to something more, I suppose flirty?

I [23M] have been talking to a girl [23F] pretty consistently daily for a few months now. We have very similar interests, we've been talking about stuff we've watched on Netflix, music etc. since before quarantine even started. We've even watched a few things together, but nothing I'd consider like a "date" type thing.

I want to begin, you know, start elevating our conversation from this point, but it just feels so… awkward. There's, what, 6 months of talking and being friends behind us. To start sending some flirty memes just out of nowhere (from her perspective, maybe) seems like it would be weird. Last night we were talking about Legends of Korra. How the fuck do I smoothly pivot from talking about Korra to flirting??
