hi y’all. since quarantine started a month and a half ago, i (21F) have been ghosted by four different guys i met from tinder. i was also catfished by one from tinder.
my in-person dating pattern is usually that a guy and i go on one or two dates (that usually go well) and then they stop talking to me. the first guy i started seeing during this time went on two dates with me, he kissed me, and he never spoke to me again.
i am not sure why this happens, but now i assume every guy i talk to on a dating app will ghost me. it’s toxic, i know, but i make bets with myself to see how long it will be before they inevitably stop talking to me. i haven’t had a guy stick around for more than two weeks in over a year.
this frustrates me. why is it so hard to be straightforward and tell someone you’re not feeling it? avoiding them doesn’t make anyone feel better. i’m very sick of being the person that is constantly wondering what i did to drive people away.
i’d love some advice or a new perspective about this.
