So I just starting dating this nurse. I left my previous partner for her, because we had a few very long conversations about being really attracted to each other and thought we would be really great partners — also the chemistry was through the roof! So now after a month or so into dating each other, things have gotta really serious and we never had a chance to ease into the relationship. She suggested we take a step back and give each other a little more space. I’m really into her so I will do whatever it takes to make sure this works out, but I’m unsure on how to take this step back after all the things we’ve been through. Does anyone have any advice for us??
Quick note: we’re in the Pacific Northwest, and quarantine rules are in effect and nothing’s open … which is why this was all bad timing? Idk, just a little tidbit that might help.
EDIT: extra info. she lives in a studio, so she’s been alone for 2 months (she’s in a very emotional state, and I’m there for support.)and working the respiratory unit at the hospital during the covid Times. My roommates have been fine with me seeing her.
