How do we make the other lose interest ?

Hey guys,

I am just thinking about all the time my targets lost interest in me. So I just wanted to ask about general mistakes that lead to those situation, in order to not make them again.

So in my opinion, my past mistakes were that I showed too much interest too fast in the relationship, thus appearing as a needy and insecure person. For example, I texted too much, and having too much pressure about the content.

What do you think ? What about your experiences ?
