How do you get over the feeling that there will always be someone out there who is better suited for your partner?

I (19F) started dating my boyfriend (19M) seven months ago a few months after we met/college started. We are both of each other’s first relationships.

Everyone who knows me knows that I am the biggest overthinker. I over analyze everything to the point where it is both mentally and physically exhausting.

Ever since we first started dating, I can’t help but think that there will always be someone who is better suited for my boyfriend. I think that if I was really the right girl for him, he would act more affectionate (he is not the most affectionate and is PDA shy, which I am totally fine with and quite frankly kinda agree about. I don’t like to flaunt us either, but I just can’t get the thought out of my mind that if he was with someone who he liked more, he wouldn’t be able to hold back), he would post her more on social media (I don’t necessarily want to be posted, I just think that, again, if he were with the right girl, he wouldn’t be able to stop himself/he would post about her all the time), etc.

I know he loves me, and I feel the same about him. I feel so lucky to be with him. But I can’t get these thoughts out of my head that there is someone better out there for him. Any advice?
