How do you handle the "where do you work?, what do you do for a living?" When you’re not proud of what you’re doing nor doesn’t earn that much.

As a guy, that it's the question/topic that bugs me the most.

It annoyed me because I don't know how to handle it. After all I'm a grad earning practically minimum wage and approaching to his 30s.

It's not like I'm sitting and trying to stay like this for life. I've tried different projects that unfortunately they have been unsuccessful. Right now I'm still trying a project, idk if its gonna work, but I'm trying. But dating, I don't think that matters. You have it or you don't simple as that (financial prowness).

Any advice?
