How… do you keep the person you like interested?

Preface: INFJ and kinda shy.

So, I haven't really been on many dates [26M], and I'm quite terrible at messaging/texing (believe me I'm actively working on my communucation skills). Have you ladies, or guys out there got any advice in trying to court the person you're interested in?

I feel like I get too comfortable when trying to get to know someone and feel like I already know them. And then BAM I shoot off a message and I'll never hear from then again. I can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Every person who's took my interest seems to just lock off after a couple messages. As soon as a person starts ghosting my messages my anxiety kicks in knee deep.

Any advice really does help.
