Hi,
I know the title sounds a little crazy…
LSS, he is used to being single, and considers himself to be very independent. He has been in one relationship before ever, and she was very controlling. Him and I are both self-motivated, people who love early mornings, care about fitness and health, love to cook, and advocates of self-improvement (we have read a lot of the same books and just generally are constantly trying to become better).
He initially said he is not sure what he is looking for, but as we began to hang out more often (which was mostly a push from him) he pulled back and said that while he really likes spending time with me, he doesn't know if he can do a relationship right now but wants to continue to go on dates, and he isn't seeing other people.
We have been going on dates since the end of May, and recently he has been more distant and taking a long time to respond if I message. I am honestly really irritated, but don't want to blow up or he will think that "all girls are controlling" just like his ex.
I'm seeing him Friday night, how can I get the message to him that I want to be in a relationship with him and that we can both help each other in our fitness and life goals?
