I got out of a long term relationship end of last year and I realized I’ve never really done the bar scene while single. I got into my last LTR shortly before I turned 21 and now, over 3 years later, I’m realizing the reason I don’t know how to approach people at bars is because it’s never been something I’ve done. Since graduating college I don’t really have any drinking buddies to go out with anymore, so a wingman is kinda out.
When I go to bars its usually local places where I can try their new craft beers they have. Loud packed bars and dancing is 100% not my thing and very much out of my comfort zone.
So how’s it done?
