Currently been with my SO for a year and a few months, our honeymoon period definitely lasted a good 9 months. After that, it’s slowly started to fade I think (less flirting and more straight forward answers).
We love each other and enjoy each other’s company. We text everyday and say good morning/good night to each other everyday. But on some days there are silences throughout the day and we have nothing to talk about – which I believe is normal?
When we don’t talk for a while, I get paranoid she’s lost interest or she’s not focused on the relationship? Then when she messages me again, it seems we are still connected.
Sometimes all this makes me a little worried especially when we are silent with nothing to talk about and I am able to overthink things?
Are there any couples out there who have been through this and can advise on how to keep the relationship strong?
Is it me over thinking that things could be going downhill? Or is this normal and what’s the steps to ensure the relationship stays healthy?
