This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it wasn’t for the fact this person is a new coworker of mine. They got word that I had a little crush on them and started texting me and asked me out, so we hung out and had dinner. They tried to get a bit physical with me but I kept it just friendly. I got out of a relationship 3 mo’s ago that was really hard for me and I still feel damaged.
They’re extremely sweet but I don’t feel much of a connection romantically and I feel awful. This person keeps texting me being sweet but I don’t want to lead them on romantically. I just don’t want to come off as a jerk. How do I navigate this situation in the best way?
