How To Test Waters With Bi Curious Friend?

So I am a lesbian and I've liked girls for years but have never kissed anyone or been in a serious relationship. I recently made an online friend who lives in australia (so very far from me) and there's been a couple things that have made me want to test the waters with her but I don't know how. We spend a lot of time talking and in general she's very nice to me and will send me hearts and has told me she loves me a few times (she said it first actually) and the other night we were on voice chat with another friend and I was just listening and typing my responses since I couldn't talk and I made a comment about how one day I'll come to australia and ride horses with her since that's one thing we both have in common. The other friend in the chat misread it as "i'll come to australia and ride you" and the friend i'm talking about in this post responded with in a dead serious tone "i'd be down for that." I'd already sent a response before she said that and I'd jokingly said lucky for you i'm gay which didn't send till after she said that and she responded with "lucky for you i'm bi curious."

Maybe I'm wrong but things definitely seem somewhat flirty on her end but I don't know if I'm reading too much into things or not. I'm still getting to know her but I don't know what little things I could do to test the waters and see how she responds. We're 20 and 21 respectively so both adults. Any advice or input would be appreciated!
