I have met a girl online who I recently started to like. She has told me that she finds me attractive and would like to date me as well. We have met twice, text daily and call most weekends. The last time we met was last weekend. Later that night when we were both at seperate parties I told her how I felt.
She lives an hour away in the country while I live in the city. When she comes down to the city it is only for a couple of hours at a time as she has to be back before 5. I still live with my parents and am unable to bring her to my house as it is a half hour from the city and my parents are not the best type of people to be around (my dad is retired and is home 24/7, Even before COVID hit and my mum wont let anybody in the house unless they are close friends of mine as she knows who they are. Definitely won’t let a random girl come over).
Neither of us has a drivers license and I am unable to get mine until my testing centre re-opens which is in a couple of months time. There is nothing for us to do anywhere in the city except shop, eat and talk (because of COVID). I feel like I should organise a date but am unsure as to whether that is a smart idea as I don’t want to waste her or my time with a relationship, when it will end in a couple of weeks because of the long distance situation.
I feel as though she needs an answer soon, she is becoming distant and not initiating conversation anymore but I don’t know what to tell her except “on second thought this isn’t gonna work out Rn”. I really like this girl and have not felt a connection like this since my last relationship (have had a couple of casual relationships since then). Is there anything I can do to keep this alive or am I dead in the water with no options except the obvious?
