So out of quarantine-induced boredom, I re-downloaded Tinder; I ended up matching with a casual acquaintance from college a few days ago. I sent a greeting message, which she didn't respond to; I brushed this off as her not being interested.
However, yesterday, this same acquaintance texted me out of the blue about something unrelated; this is the first time we've ever had a conversation over text, and we never really knew each other as anything besides "that guy/girl from law class".
Should I assume she's interested, or not? I do find this girl attractive, but due to a series of circumstances too complex to explain here, it would cause some social headaches for me if I were to shoot my shot and it turns out I misread the situation.
