Online and in real life I’ve had men of many ages come up to me or start an online conversation with a comment on how I look (e.g. hey you’re cute, I’ve got to say you’re beautiful, etc.). I want to know what makes you think this is the best way to start talking to someone? I often try to play the comment down because it can sometimes make me uncomfortable for someone to comment right away on how I look instead of talking more to get to know me a bit before they talk about what they think of me.
Do you think that for the most part people are trying to just “be nice” by giving a compliment? Because unfortunately it makes me feel like they are a player when they start off a convo like that.
